about

Gypsy Clock was the penultimate conclusion for Snail Garden. It was the mashing of two styles and finally merging them into one. The second album, "Analog Realities" exclusively used synthesizers and drum machines to achieve its unique vision, but this ep was the first to include both live Guitar & Bass-it is also the first Snail Garden release to feature any sort of vocals thus far.

Where "Digital Dreams" paved the way & "Analog Realities" followed, "Polysynth Paradox" the single was almost a misstep in the musical evolution of the project. This particular EP was recorded in 2012/2013, to the best of my recollection, and is presented here in a touched up 2015 mix which adjusted some levels which were previously too low or too high, as well as using a different and more consistent drum kit across all the songs.

We hope you enjoy this, the fourth release from retronica group Snail Garden & we encourage you to stay tuned because we shall be releasing the famed "Analog Realities" sooner than you'd think..
